As you can see here, before I began, the entity count is at 1.5k. Around 75-80% of those are chickens. The other are random entities/eggs.
After I got fed up with chasing chickens around, the entity count has gone down to 900. Not bad.
Just a quick note, this is the hill where most of the chickens are atm. Ian, if you're reading this, clean up. You're hurting the server

Do we know it was Ian for sure? It's on a spot of land where there are a lot of signs with his name on them. It's his "art gallery". If you go around the mountain behind the incinerator, you'll even see a redstone "statue" claiming that

So as far as I can tell there should only be 100 or so chickens left. Unless I couldn't find a herd of them (flock?) there should only be stragglers. You are all welcome. BTW Ian said he let them out. He didn't realize it was lagging the server because he has a fastish computer.

Even with a fast-ish computer, one should've felt the server lagging (block-lag, entities jumping around etc etc)

I did, and my internet is consistently 30 up 30 down, so it was making an impact.
