Yes, sorry, but I think it's time that we put some official rules in place as to give something to go off of for Moderators/myself when an issue arises. Feel free to discuss the rules below, but for the most part things are set in stone.
RULE #1 - Anyone and everyone is welcome to join the teamspeak. If they type the IP willingly into their teamspeak client, they are welcome. (Unless of course they've been perma-banned.)
RULE #2 - No harassment/toxic behavior. PERIOD. It doesn't matter who started what argument, or who insulted who first, or what they said, if a moderator/admin deems behavior to be toxic they have MY BLESSING to temp ban you (24 hours). I'm the only one with permission to ban permanently.
RULE #3 - If you are on the teamspeak and are playing a game, you MUST follow the rules of that game. If you're playing LoL and you're AFK in fountain, that breaks our rules too. Plus, we probably don't wanna play with you anyways.
RULE #4 - No NSFW Links in Server Chat tab, or in Channel Chat tabs. Send whatever you want between yourselves, but that isn't OK to put in publicly accessible chat areas.
RULE #5 - Moderators/Myself are the final deciders. Our word is Final. If a moderator gives you any trouble that you believe to be wrong, contact me, but forewarning their word is pretty much LAW.
RULE #6 - This one is multiple parts, having to do with courtesy over voice.
A) NO continuous transmission. It makes the rest of this easier when that is just a blanket statement.
B) If anyone asks you to disable Voice Activation Detection because you're picking up background noise, you do it. Push to talk isn't bad, some people have to use it all the time. Get over it and save our headaches for something useful.
C) If we can hear music/echo in the background of your mic, you turn it off or plug in headphones. There's no desire to listen to your Toaster-Quality Maroon 5 when we're all listening to Pandora/Spotify/Youtube/iTunes/LCS anyways.
D) Please try your best to use the best mic you have available. This doesn't mean go out and buy a 90$ mic just for teamspeak, but if the option is available please try NOT to use the built in mic on your garage sale webcam.
RULE #7 - No name changing. Once you choose a name to go by, stick to it. It makes it easier (mainly for me) to keep track of who's on. You may think it's funny but it's just giving me a Migraine.
RULE #8 - Once you've been perma-banned, YOU ARE BANNED. BANISHED. GOODBYE. We don't want you back again. No making a new client and getting on to troll. You're not helping anything. Go away.
These rules are subject to change at the request of the community, but most of these are not changing. If you have any issues with any of these rules, post in this thread and I'll see if it's necessary to change right away.
